Those lantern standards are closing on 100 years old and some of them have suffered much damage from snow plows, etc… I wonder what the city’s plans are for maintaining or replacing them? I noticed that where the old incadescent bulbs have blown, they’ve replaced them with gross-looking fluorescent bulbs.
